Evolutionary Profile of Opportunistic Infections in People Living with Human Immunodeficiency Virus during Six Months of Dolutegravir Based Antiretroviral Treatment in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo

Background: Opportunistic infections (OI), which are still a major problem in the care of People Living with HIV (PLHIV), occur situations immunosuppression. The AntiRetroViral Treatments (ART) used allow spectacular reduction frequency Infections. Objective: objective this study is to present evolution Infections under Treatment Kinshasa era Dolutegravir. Methods: prospective cohort evolutionary profile OIs PLHIV on ART for 6 months Outpatient Centers (OTC) Kinshasa. Sixteen OTCs had been included. population work was patients over 18 years age at inclusion, infected HIV-1 and initiating selected OTC. Results: On 119 were included 56.3% women. Malaria (45.4%), tuberculosis (29.4%) cutaneous pruritus (23.5%) most common (OIs). In third month ART, 37 came consultation 70.3% Non-specific STIs (97.3%), skin (37.8%) malaria (24.3%) dominant among patients. At sixth 62 medical 61.3% Skin (25.8%), dermatitis (22.6%) rash (21%) OIs. Conclusion: marked by conservation such as (pruritus rashes) malaria.
